The Program in Brief
The Computer Forensics program provides its participants with a comprehensive understanding of computer forensics and investigation tools and techniques. All major personal computer operating system architectures and disk structures will be discussed. Participants will learn about the most relevant software and hardware tools, the importance of digital evidence controls, and how to process crime and incident scenes. Participants can also look forward to in-depth coverage of key areas like data acquisition, computer forensic analysis, e-mail investigations, image file recovery, and investigative report writing.

The Type of Program Participant Who Would Benefit Most:
Anyone interested in eventually entering a technical field of law enforcement or anyone whose work involves information technology related security duties would be well served by this program.
Prerequisites:
A high level of computer literacy, preferably A+ Certification or equivalent experience would be ideal.
