The Program in Brief

This program introduces its participants to concepts in Inventory Control, Production Planning and Supply Chain Management systems. Key concepts and practices like capacity planning, master scheduling, material requirement planning and JIT delivery will be covered in detail. The planning process from inception of ideas to actual implementation of plan following established guidelines and strategies will be thoroughly discussed in the course. Participants will also be exposed to the fundamental elements of forecasting, scheduling and customer relations management in the context of a diverse operation in manufacturing, distribution and logistics environment. Other components of the program include computer literacy, document management and preservation as well as fork lift and safety training.
